Mr. Bezerra de Menezes is an experienced litigator with a broad range of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters.
He has practiced extensively in the state and federal courts and has significant appellate law experience, having successfully handled appeals in both the state and federal appellate courts.
Prior to joining the Firm in June 1992, Mr. Bezerra de Menezes worked as general counsel in two financial conglomerates and a major national LNG gas distributor. He served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Brazilian Soccer Confederation (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol, CBF) between 1989 and 1998. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (Chapter of the State of Rio de Janeiro) as well as of the prestigious Brazilian Lawyers Institute (Instituto dos Advogados Brasileiros, IAB).
A partner of the Firm, Mr. Bezerra de Menezes heads the appellate jurisdiction practice group.
